Established in 2002, Amadee Park Vineyard is located at Lockwood, west of Bendigo, approximately twenty minutes drive from the city centre. In the early days of grape growing in the Bendigo wine region, Lockwood had a number of vineyards however the advent of phylloxera in the 1890’s caused the uprooting of grapevines in the Bendigo region and it was not until 2002 that a vineyard was again established at Lockwood with the planting Amadee Park Vineyard.

The vineyard covering three acres was planted by Geoff and Jill Dupuy with Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon and a small vintage was produced in 2004.

The vineyard is planted in rich soils adjacent to Bullock Creek and is managed to provide low yields of high quality hand picked fruit.

The fruit is crafted by acclaimed winemaker Ian Leamon to produce premium wines that are typical of the Bendigo Region displaying superb colour and fruit qualities with excellent finish on the palate.
